I just celebrated a site milestone when I posted my 1,100 artist biography, which was garage rock revival legends the Fuzztones. While I believe that this site is the largest database in the world of artists who started between 1955 and 1985 and released a live recording that I own, I am committed to keep growing the site for as long as I can possibly can. I continue to look for live recordings from new artists that make the criteria on a constant basis and will be adding yet more biographies and live music information in the future.
The rock world has also lost some legends since my last new post in early April. They include legends like Brian Wilson, Sly Stone (Sylvester Stewart), and Rick Derringer. Given that, I have updated a number of biographies in the last couple of months. New additions include Fuzztones, Chesterfield Kings, Little Bill and the Blue Notes, and Frumious Bandersnatch. Updates include the Sonics, the Wailers, the Kingsmen, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan and of course, Rick Derringer, Brian Wilson, Sly and the Family Stone, and the Beach Boys.
